Books and Materials

Through your local library you can borrow materials from libraries in the North State System and from other libraries in California and elsewhere. To facilitate interlibrary loan, the System provides member libraries with a shared catalog. In addition, the System subsidizes use of OCLC, a nationwide database that contains many libraries’ records of books, magazines and other materials.

Magazine Articles

Public and academic libraries have computer indexes for magazine articles. Contact your local library about borrowing materials from these sources.

More than 1,200 DVD’s are available to member libraries through the Orland Free Library. You can order them through your local library if it participates in the program. Search Orland’s catalog to see what is available. Just click on the Movies and Videos button.
